Maria Velasquez was born and raised in Grand Rapids, where her passion for building meaningful connections and supporting her community has always been at the heart of her work. With a strong interest in health and wellness, Maria thrives by learning from the families, instructors, volunteers, and interns she works with-continually expanding her understanding of what health truly means. 

As a dedicated team member at FitKids360 for over two years, Maria has witnessed firsthand the program's powerful impact. She finds joy in encouraging families, celebrating their progress, and supporting them in achieving their goals both inside and outside the classroom.

Maria is excited to continue growing the reach of FitKids360, bringing its mission to new spaces and new families alongside her passionate team.
